OP jakerboy New CEG\'er J Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 33	Hello I have been hearing a chirping sound under the hood . I have replaced the s belt and i still hear it. It seems to be louder in the morning after it has sat all night .Just wondering if it could be the alt bearings or maybe the water pump ? Any ideas ? Thanks again . 2L zetec.

How many miles? it could just be a pulley or a tensioner on the Serpentine belt assembly that is causing this problem... 98 Corolla LE 1.8L DOHC 1ZZFE TEIN H.Tech Springs Tokico HP series Struts Short ram air intake Tsudo Axel Back Exhaust ... if a jelly fish stung me.. would you pee on the wound?
