I got my bosses my MacBook here at my desk. All I am trying to do is enter the email settings. When I open the Mail program it just sits there with the colored pinwheel thing twirls. It will sit there forever. I have to force quit it. Now I am a PC tech, and a damned good one at that. But these friggin Mac's suck!
Can someone help me out?

Try running the software updates and see if it finds anything. IF that doesn't work, find the software install CD and re-install just the Mail App.
It sounds like the Mail.app got corrupted somehow. Just needs to be replaced is all.
And you're a not a PC Tech... You are just unfortunate.

i got an even better solution for ya.
strap a pound of C4 to it and end its life!!!

That would be my option, but this is the Owners Mac. And you never screw with the person that signs your checks.

I always find it somewhat Ironic that drivers and fans of SVT Contours - you know - a limited production car that looks good, performs well all around for most people, but has a small following with not the best "aftermarket" support - would go and start bashing Macs... A limitied production computer that looks good and gets the job done for most people, but has a small following with not the best "3rd Party" support.

Uhh, it isn't the National Enquirer, its the Inquirer. Which from what I can tell (by actually visiting the site in the link) it is a computer tech magazine or something to that effect.
