I have just installed the (4)fourth water pump in my 1995 2L. DOHC Zetec engine in less than two years. Three in the last month. Less than two years ago my timing pullies destroyed themselves. While down that far, I replaced the water pump, having over 150,000 miles on it. That one lasted 20 months. The next one lasted 2 days, the next lasted 8 days. I am now on the 2 day of the fourth one.
HAS Anyone had the same problem?? or is there something bigger I am not seeing? I(6 months ago) flushed and replaced the themostat and solved the over heating problem then.
