I have a '96 with the 2.5L, auto. I have a trans leak the comes and goes. Seems to be worse when parked on a hill. Any suggestions of where to look first?

Thanks

Welcome . Parked facing uphill or downhill? What is the ATFluid level? Check after driving for about 10 minutes with transmission in Park. If the fluid is overfilled, it could leak out of the dipstick or tranny vent (under the battery on the positive terminal side). You should clean the area under the tranny well and then check after driving a while to see where the leak is coming from. The 96 auto has a valve release cap on the vent.
