Has anyone done that service at like Jiffy Lube where they hook up a bottle of some crap and cram it through your intake system. Does this mess anything up or does it actually do some good.

That's a $50 fu*kin dollar job! No way am I going to pay that amount for them to do that. Maybe if my car was at around 150k are runing like complete sh*t.

When you do an oil change drop in a bottle of Cheveron (with techron) in the gas tank. That's the stuff that cleans out the injectors. Do that every oil change and you're good to go. By the way, that stuff is only like $3.

I'm doing that now. What about the engine flush. Kind of the same thing except for the oil. The reason I ask is that my car is just over 80k and I've never had a problem I want it to stay that way.

I'd do that full fuel system cleaner. It also cleans up the intake manifolds. It's not BS. Engine flush works also, but it cost a lot of money to do that complete flush.

You might consider running the fuel system cleaner through a tank of gas BEFORE you change your oil...that way there is less crap going into the new oil...just my $0.02 worth. smile
