With money being no option. Could anyone give me some examples on how to give my 2000 SVT contour some speed and quickness. Be it horsepower, torque, or both. Thanks. Any mods will be taken into consideration.

Have you read any part of the site other than the forums?
Try some forum searches. There are *tons* of things you can do.
See the 3.0L forum -- that's a great way to get more hp -- more displacement!
Try looking around before asking such questions.'

Chef, money is always an option!
If not, start with say a Viper or something a bit higher up the food chain than a 4-door Ford...
But seriously, How much do you want to spend? Want power, handing, brakes, or all 3? What is your goal - 1/4 mile king, roadcourse monster, all around street? How far are you willing to go (ie. put a new motor in a new car)? Got to be specific, we have alot of options believe it or not..
May want to check out S&P motorsports, CTA, and BAT all have a good selection and are all in links fron CEG webpage. And thats just the beginning..how about a turbo 3L?

Hey my little nut sacks that have the smart things to say. I have Looked throught the site and gone to links. Quite frankly I just want the real truth about some of these product, which are the best. alot of them say 8-10 horsepower or 4-5 hp or 95horsepower(S/C). But are u just getting the horses at your output or are U gonna have it at your wheels. Is it all a bunch of slogans to get U to buy their product or are u really gonna increase your quarter time significanly??

Who you calling nut sacks? Are you calling Lance a nut sack, cause he is the only one who really flamed you? who gives a ****. basically from what i know you really dont want to get the S/C cause it seems every single one has broken down. Adding a whole new exhaust, headers ,and if you want the 3.0L(another problematic option) seems to get the most power. Along with that little things like intake, super chip, throttle body, better clutch, etc...

Contours suck.. Any mods short of the S/C or Turbo will give you such minor gains, you won't even notice it. Leave well enough alone, and if the car's not fast enough, buy something faster. A lesson learned after spending ALOT of money on my SVT.
