You all are awesome. I always learn so much when I hang with you guys! Yep, total body colour, pretty burgandy red with no power nothing. Which brings me to another question..i'm full of them I know. On an older car like this with no power options in it, can those be added. I would love to have power locks and be able to set it up with a car starter. It's the one thing I truly miss from my old beater is the power locks. If it can be added, any idea what price range that runs at?

IIRC the 1997 fuel door does not have remote (it springs open with the notch)

Yup.
You can spot a 98 and 98.5 out of the group too.
98 will have a chrome antenna base, and raised door ding guards. 98.5 will have a round black antenna base, still with raised door guards. 99-00 will have black round antenna base and FLAT door guards.
Also, if you spot a Contour GL in a 98-00 body style, it has to be a 98, since 98.5-00 did not have a GL.

Yes, you can add them all, since Contours came with power everything.
But, more importantly, can you get your car to a truck scale? I'm dying to know how much a base car weighs!
