I just noticed a small leak from the oil filter on my car. After a closer look and removal of the filter I realized that the gasket coating on the cooler was missing in a spot, hence the leak.
Im thinking of removing all of the gasket type stuff from the cooler and giving the filter a uniform mating surface. That or pony up the $$ for a new cooler.
Any advice on which way to go?
