OP fordman302 New CEG\'er F Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 27 Sw Fl	I have a 98.5 svt contour I have noticed my water temp gauge goes over 210 ( never had this before )And when driving it will go to 210 or higher only by 10 degress or so just kinda weird never had this problem before any suggestions?? Help is apperciated..Thanks..

OP fordman302 New CEG\'er F Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 27 Sw Fl	Theres 9,000 miles on the motor..Is it normal when i go out and drive the car and turn it off and like 15 mins later go and start it and my gaug goes to like 210 is this just from the water sitting? Yeah i probally could get the temp with a scanner.

It will go up if the car "hot soaks" like you described, which should go away after the engine runs a minute. If you noticed a sudden temp increase, please replace your waterpump and check the cooling fans are both running, check when you turn on the A/C, watch your fingers...

OP fordman302 New CEG\'er F Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 27 Sw Fl	Yeah i still have the stock gauge but i have a autometer gauge that i wired in..Worked great for nearly a year and i have been kinda rough on my car and im sure it needs some TLC..Fans have been coming on when car hits 210. Havent yet checked it with the ac on..
