Hey for everyone with the typical saggy bosal problem, I've figured out a cheap fix.

I've tried shorter rubber hangers and they look good for a bit until they strech and make their initial hanger tear in. They they look almost as bad as before, and 6 $ a hanger for 3-4 weeks of looking good isnt worth it..

Soooo...

120lb cable zip ties. they are 14" long perfect length.

So you can either use them in conjuction with an old rubber hanger and pretty much use a few of them as a hanger OR you can get a new rubber hanger and wrap these around it so it can't stretch it down.

These are extremely strong, none have broken yet in months of use. I have them pretty much taking the place of the rubber hanger pulling up the system higher than the rubber hanger could when it's as tight as possible. But I left the hanger there in case it ever dropped for extra protection.

I put them on the hanger and not the piping, so it's exhaust hanger to body hanger. Heat doesnt travel up the hanger especially that far back.

Last trip was 6 hours in 90' no sign of it.

I used two ring clamps on each rear hangar. It keeps the tips level and still allows for left right swing (well a little)

It has worked really well. Although, now that I am thinking about it, maybe zip ties will be better since they don't rust....

take a 3" or 4" S/S hose clamp and put it around the new rubber hangers and crank it up til you can't go any further and then go some more. You still have the rubber hanger but it can't stretch because the hose clamp won't let it. Easy and cheap.

When I had a second hanger welded on for my SVT exhaust, the rubber hanger let the passenger side hang too low. I used a cable tie like those and havn't had a single problem. I've had the same cable tie on for over a year.

This is an awesome idea guys, I cant wait to get home and put it to use on my Saggy borla!

So the consesus is that either cable ties or hose clamps will sufficiently hold the exhaust, problem free?

Dont try to use some wimpy ones though, get 75+ lbs ones.. Readily available on ebay for cheap. Make sure you get decent length ones.

You can even straighten you exhaust if you have slight alignment iggues with with. You can make and X/crisscross pattern with 2 ties attached to holes in the body so then it hangs exact where you want it to.

Good luck!
