Well, I'm sure as hell leaking something. After sitting 8 hours, the car leaves two wet spots, maybe 6 x 4" or less for each. They're on opposite sides of the car, about 8-12" in from the wheels; the driver's side spot is about even with the wheel's contact patch, the passenger side is maybe half a foot behind it. The fluid is dark, but not dark enough to be oil. I checked all fluids; everything is ok, except for power steering, which is a bit low. The car has no symptoms, other than some slight noise in the steering, which the car has always had, and the clutch pedal has felt slightly odd (stiffer, a tiny bit less travel). This could be in my head (once I know something's wrong, I'll just start looking for things, as I'm sure we all do), but I thought it felt off before I noticed the wet spots.

So, ideas? I guess the rack could be going, or worst-case is I guess a crack in the trans case (don't our trannies have power steering fluid, or am I miss-remembering?). I'm taking it to a shop tomorrow, since I have no way get the car up and poke around, but ideas and direction would be quite helpful. Thanks!

Fluids are the same in the transmission and power steering. Time to get dirty and slide under the front end.

Not power steering fluid after all; oil. Pressure sending unit's gone south... see new post in Duratec Performance.
