Good or bad idea? Tell me what you think, or have experienced. Is it a waste because it is only restricted then by the trottle body? should I get a new tb in addition.

i think most will tell u its overkill. 75 seems to be the most common.

hmmm....i wonder what the dyno would say? it does seem rather large for the car....and i am assuming it is overkill, but i wonder how much overkill, or if overkill at all?

Some have dyno'ed the Pro-M 75 MM and 80 MM with the same gains (no difference). I got an 80 MM off a Cobra and butt dyno proved big gains(probably the same as the Pro-M 75 MM). I got it for $50 on E-Bay and was well worth the $$. The only problem was fitting the MAF adapter to it. Only took some careful drilling and EUREKA!
