Has anyone used the clay bar by Sonus? I was thinking of trying a new bar (Sonus SFX Ultra -Fine Detailing Clay).

Wanted to try something new than what i usually use. Sonus Perfect Paint Finish Kit for 48.00 not bad. Includes clay bar, glyde lubricant, prewax cleaner ,applicator and cloth.

Here are two car detailing sites i find are pretty much rite on and very informative for car detailing enthusiasts.

The Perfect Shine Detailing Clay Intro Package

I use clay magic. I don't real feel any difference in the clay between Clay Magic, Mothers or Meguires, but the lube seems to be a bit slicker and doesn't dry up as fast in my opinion....

The ultra-fine clay is meant for those who know they have very small and few surface contaminants, or people who like to clay more frequently (4 or more times per year). If you're just looking for clay to use a couple times annually, or on a vehicle which really needs to be clayed, go with the Block clay.

Unless the ultra-fine is what you NEED, I'd just go with the Clay Magic kit or Mother's clay - regardless of what my display name is The Block clay isn't really worth the extra $$.

AutoZone has the Clay magic with lubricant for <$10 IIIRC. I use it once a year, when I have a serious amoutn of time to dedicate to the whole process.
