I was looking in to buying the venom 100 kit, so I went on the venom website and looked to see if they had a kit, and what the part number was. On the website, it has a listing for only 1999 and 2000 contours. I called venom and asked them but they couldn't help me they said it's listed for only those two years. I can't think of a reason why it won't work on my 1998 CSVT. What do you think, why or why not, would it work?

Not trying to state the obvious , but you might want to check the forced induction section, some people have put the venom setup in and should be able to help you.

Is nitrous really considered forced induction?? I thought forced induction meant forcing air into your engine by either a turbo or supercharger.

it might have something to do with your fuel system. im looking at installing the zex kit. That particular kit will only work with a return type fuel injection. half way through 99 the contours went to returnless F.I. as far as I know. Is the venom a wet or dry system? that may be the difference.

Dry. But it can be used on any year. It pulses the injectors as opposed to relying on a vacuum line.
