I just did it it took about 15 minutes now I got cold air YEY!  I might need 1 more can of that stuff but it will do for now.

i love how you guys just put cans in not knowing how much to put in, real smart ..... you need to see how much r-134a is in your system then just top if off.

there is an accumulator in the system for a reason....adding one can of freon isn't gonna kill the ac system....you think the dude at the dealer is way careful how much he puts in...comeon

are you kidding me? a 1lb can of freon when the a/c system might only be 1.5 2 maybe...... yea they do watch what there doing.

the system take 1 lb 2 oz iirc by the label on the hood, most of the cans of r-134a you find at say wal-mart, the ones without the trigger and hose with gage are 12 oz ...

Well I know mine was completely empty cause I changed the compressor so I put in two of those little cans and that wasnt enough from what the chart said. I measured the LBS on the low pressure side and it said 25 LBS and I need to get up to 35 to 45 according to the chart.
