So last weekend I discovered a sizeable leak in one of the brakelines on the Mystique. Seeing as we were going to be taking it off the road in a little over a month after the plate registration expired, it made no sense in spending money on getting it fixed. So this past weekend, at 323,151km(just over 200k miles), we laid her to rest at my grandparents farm. We're keeping her for parts for now, and maybe someday in the future we'll fix it up and keep that odometer ticking.
We bought it back in '02 and over the last 110,000km have only replaced the alternator, a bearing, balljoint, the tires, waterpump, and a powersteering hose.
She was a great car to us and feels like losing a friend.
