it makes me so mad to think thats where the contour would be if it werent discontinued. I am positive the line would have taken off if they gave it a couple more years.

The contour I think would have done better if they used some of the nice interior pieces of teh mondeo, the mondeo just looked more luxury like, but in the end I don't think people liked having no back seat room  . The same will happen to the focus, just wait.

Ford needed a good compact when the F&F craze hit. All they had was the focus, and that's nothing. If the probe had been around a couple more years, and Ford wasn't as worried about it stepping on their precious base model Mustang's toes, it would have been huge, IMHO.
