Bill Estes Ford in Brownsburg, IN. Took the car in to have the brake pressure control valve recall done and to have an alignment(steering wheel offcenter and vibration during braking). I dropped it off on Sunday night because I couldn't get away from work to just go drop it off. They open at 7:30 and by 8:15 I had a phone call telling me that the alignment was off but that the rear drums needed resurfaced. I let them do that because I knew they would probably need something done. Called me back by again before 10:00 and said the car was done. I went and picked it up to discover that not only had they done all the work I asked, but they also took had taken the initiative to send someone on a parts run to another dealer to get the spring shields for that recall(we'll see how those work out), it looked like they had washed the car, and the kicker for me: the total price was over $70 less than I was quoted on the phone laugh . That is the second time I have had my car there(fourth if you count my last car) and I've always gotten great service on the car, car was done before I was told it would be, the staff has been really nice and easy to communicate with. I've been recommending everyone that will listen to me take their cars there, just thought I'd share since most of what I see on here are bad dealer experiences. :p

Good dealers must live in Indy.... Community Ford down the road from me in Mooresville has done a great job on a few little things that I have taken both my cars in for. laugh

Have you noticed a clunk now with your spring shields? What size tires are you running on? We had a clunk on turns and bumps, mostly solved, but was told it was because of the tire size confused

I just had the spring shields put on yesterday and I haven't noticed them doing anything yet. My tires are 195/60R15.

I have also had pretty good experience with Indy dealers in general. I bought my car from a guy that worked at the shelbyville ford dealer cause it was SVT and he prided himself on selling to all the ford A-Plan guys (my dad works for ford). He works at the Plainfield ford now and I am not sure if I am gonna take my car there or brownsburg for the dash recall (I live on the west side so is no problem). Thanks for posting about the brownsburg one!

Maybe because mine are 205's??? I doubt 10mm would make that difference... confused

Nick, where are you on the westside? I guess you were talking about Andy Mohr in Plainfield?

Damn, I wish my dealer washed my car when I take it in for service, I can't keep this black car clean for the life of me!

I got looking at mine a little closer and it does seem that the shields stick out enough that they could rub on the tire if I hit a big enough bump...
