Okay. Time for me to post a thank you to all CEGers who posted their experiences on fixing their hazy headlamps.

4:00 PM Failed inspection due to low luminance. headlamps.

Drove home and polished with tooth paste and green scotch brite. Washed it out. Then drove to Advance and put two new Silverstars ST 9006. Drove back to inspection station. He tests it with his machine and it shows "Good" on the scale.

4:55 PM Passed inspection

Next year, I will use Mequiars before the inspection.

Just one of the many routes that will lead to the promised land.

My Sonata has the same problem but Hyundai will replace the assemblies for me fo free.

Just have to get the car there for them to swap em out.

Yeah, I'm sure if I were under warranty, it would be taken care of by Ford too. But at 10 years and 91K miles, ....;)The Nissans have a moisture problem which they say is "normal" unless water pools at the bottom.
