Hehehe. I like Waffle House. If so that stuff doesn't hurt me or my Iron Stomach.

I'm a local in georgia, and they're not that bad. Atleast the ones I've been too. And they never gave me the poopies. Of course, you only go to waffle house late at night when most other places are closed. It's better than huddle house/3 squares diner.

I eat at that exact same waffle house sometimes, the food is actually pretty good. Anyways, it was probably a bunch of racist rednecks harrassing the hispanics to no end. They are alllllllll over the place in western nc (the mexicans). I hope they get this immigration under control.

did you ever try the cheesesteak omlette? I wouldn't recommend it...I shoulda stuck w/ the waffles

We've got a small 24 hr place that's pretty much an old city house w/ the lower floor converted into a diner. An old guy & his wife take turns doing the cooking. The big Jack omlette (about 12" long & 5" high)has everything in it & is best smothered w/ brown gravy...& this guy doesn't take any sh!t from the local drunk-asses either, behave or get the f' out. The best part is that I've had no digestive problems from this place, ever, no matter how much tequila. We affectionately refer to this place as "Choke & Puke"

mom and pop type breakfast places rock. living in a small town like i do, there is one down on main street that is about 50 years old now, being run by the husband and wife that started it back in the 50's. they serve some ridiculously good biscuits and gravy
