It sucked when he got his because mine had clogged pre-cats so of course he beat me but once I did my headers I beat him but not by much I think I need to clean out my LIM and UIM.

I wish I was cool enough (read 'financially able') to have an SVT

Only do the rebuild if your willing to have problems with misfiring and stalling, believe me its not the greatest thing in the world doing the rebuild.

just because you had trouble doesn't mean others will, stop discouraging people, anything can be fix, just takes time ...

I just did mine without issue, and by myself, first time I have taken anything like this on myself, I saw it done once and I followed the directions, took my time and didn't break anything, no wonder I don't have any problems

No doubt. How do you get misfiring with an intake manifold rebuild? Unless you did the plugs & wires, I don't see how. Anyhow, the rebuild is a piece of cake. Just take your time, and do it right the first time. Don't listen to the mechanically declined like Tourige, he's negative about EVERYTHING.

Nice looking SVT's.

As the others have said, take your time with the rebuild and everything will be fine.
We did ours and had no problems.
