Its simple i did it on my Ranger
Heat the backside up enough to slide something under it(putty knife/something very thin and maybe narrow), not too hot or else the resin(clear part) will start to bubble. but not too cold because it will crack(I just cracked mine)
Then use a sanding block to sand all the blue paint off(make sure the paper is flat so you don't sand the chrome)
Then choose your favorite color paint. Paint the back. stick it back on with the glue of your choice.
Another cool idea that i did on accident. Glue the new colored resin part upside down for more of a custom look.
its fairlly simple after you get it apart. But have some extras line up because you will mess atleast one up.
