I know something was said about this cuz I did a search the other day!! Im pressed for time right now so I just brought it up!! I get this moaning sound now that comes and goes at certain rpms. The intake has helped my performance but the moaning is getting on my nerves!! Is there a way to stop it besides getting rid of the intake??

Ok, I looked at FAQ and saw info!! Has everyone just done this work on their own or did you go have it done?? Also it said it may hinder my performance on my SVT!!   I didn't get this intake to slow my car down!! How long did it take you all to do this procedure!!

or buy the officail ford Mr. Moose fix from Bill Jenkings for about $75 (I think?) and take no performance hits

You can drill the hole and install the cap in the correct hose in under 10 mins. If you feel there is a performance hit, take out the cap and drill the hole 1/64" bigger.

Doesn't getting the BAT air inlet pipe also get rid of the moosing? I have one on order right now for this.

Mine started moosing with the BAT intake tube on hot days. Just did it yesterday with our first 80F day.

So what does is the Bill Jenkins quick fix consist of? I'd rather pay for that then the BAT pipe if that doesn't work for it.
