Hello Everyone, I am looking to buy a Superchip code SFG2. Does anyone know where I can get a good deal on one, price wise? Any info is appreciated.

I had a superchip with code SFG2, it was very successful when it worked, it is an excellent code for the superchip. I plan on getting another. Eric

I just got my Superchip yesterday from KKM. They had to pull down the ROM for my particular chip because it was one they didn't have in their inventory. Before I was even off the phone, Warren (I think was his name) already had my code downloaded from Superchip. They burned it and had it sent out. I received it 2 days after hanging up the phone. It was fast and effective...both their service AND the chip. I think my chip was $236 out the door (give or take a couple bucks).
I love my Contour to death, but my 'vette is still my #1 baby. There's money to be made in racing. I should know. I put a lot of it there. You can make a small fortune in racing. Start with a large one. How fast do you want to go...how much money do you have? You can fix a lot of things, but you can't fix stupid!

That is what I have heard, that is the best code?? I also read that it is great for low end, however in the top end people loose power. I wish someone had some dyno plots, or remembered what the numbers were. I just want to buy a chip, and I have debated between the Diablo and the Superchip. CaWong was doing some testing on the Diablo, however I never saw the end results Super vs. Diablo. He also was using the same code that I have and a 75mm MAF, which I have ordered. I am not sure about the rest of his setup,I like mine, however I just want a little more. I wish someone had that info, anyone, anyone??? If anyone has anything else that could help me out please chime in! Thanks!!

After more research, I noticed that a lot of people loss HP and TQ with a chip. However, they ran better quarter mile times. I did notice that the Superchips dyno lost less power compared to the Diablo. Also I read that the loss is from an aftermarket Y-pipe? Is this true? Now I am starting to debate wether or not to get a chip. Anyone??

Keith, I've only heard about that with the superchip, I've heard nothing but good things about the Diablo chip, I have one my self, I absolutely LOVE IT, PERIOD. I can notice the difference in the upper and lower rpms, it feels like it pulls a lot harder, also with shifts (I have an ATX) a LOT firmer, I don't think I'll ever take it out! LOL! E-mail me if you have time, I'll give ya some more details buccaneerob@aol.com

I posted a brief review of how the chip performed in my car as of Wednesday (I think it was).
