I had a problem like I've never had before in years and years of driving. Car wouldn't take gas from the pump. I thought that hose and pump gun were not working at the mobil pump so I drove down the road to BP. Same problem. It kept shutting off like the tank was full. I couldn't believe it. I went to 4 different gas stations, same problem. It took a lot of back and fort jerking with the hose gun to finally get it to work and get the gas into the car. I'm expecting this problem again next time I fill up. Does anyone know what it is?

I recently have the problem toward the end of winter. It seemed to be one pump at the station I get gas from.

But I also noticed the way the pump is set up (the nozzle portion) it sits funny when inserted. I just hold the nozzle at a different angle and it works fine.
