From searching, it seems like most people suggest the MAF adapter and a k&n RU-3530 filter. I ordered the filter, but can't see spending 40 bucks on that piece of aluminum. I want to make my own. Anyone know the dimension on this (bolt spacing, diameter, flange ID, flange OD) so I can make a CAD model. I plan on machine it at school, Just didnt know if anyone knew the dimensions.

thanks,
Jeff

If you can wait till Sat. I can PM the dimensions to you. Won't have dimensions till then. But you might be able to get them off the MAF gasket, as well.

I can measure the MAF itself to get the bolt spacing and a general idea about the size itself, but as far as the flange where the filter slips onto, i was a little confused about. According to the websites that sell the adapter, it fits any airfilter with an 85mm ID. According to K&N's website, it has a 95mm id, but thats the part number everyone suggests. You don't have to go out of your way, I was only asking if anyone actually knew.

That could be right, since we have to REALLY crank down the K&N so it fits tight. Might be 10mm worth. Let me know.

check the Ru-1785 filter for the size, it fit over my Adapter snugly and was perfect.

Yea FYI, on the RU-3###, the part where the clamp is needs to be tightened down like a bia...So, just take the measurements from the MAF and you'll be good.

Unless auto zone has different ones from what I saw, I dont believe that it will work. I saw one there the other day and I am pretty sure that it is far too small overall. For 12 bucks that would be great if I am wrong though.

These are specifically made to fit the ru3530. The ones at autozone don't fit, unless they've gotten new ones since i last checked.
