I am new to this modding thing, in fact I am so new that I haven't done any mods to my car. I was at KKM's website checking out the Tru Rev Sport induction kit. Is this a good mod to start with? What noticeable differences will I see if I install this? I have a 2.5L Duratec. Will my HP increase? Will my fuel economy increase? Please pardon the ignorance as, like I said, I am very green at this modding thing. It all is very cool.

I've been reading throught the posts, and according to this post, web page it makes it sound like adding the Tru Rev Sport Induction kit makes you lose power. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

First mod I did on my car. The butt dyno says there is a hp gain. The sound alone is worth every penny IMHO! Do it, you'll love it!

Rice is just a matter of money. How fast do you wanna look!

i might suggest freeing up the exhaust first, but the kkm should be close behind. get it, you will crap your pants when you hear the sweet sounds of a free breathing 95. welcome to the group and watch out, you dont want to catch the modding bug that is going around. people put all kinds of money into cures for this disease but soon find out that there is no help. you are already showing signs. take two sidemarkers and call me in the morning. hahahaaaaa, welcome.

First thing to do would be to remove the resonator (It's the "muffler before the muffler"). Best way to do this would be to remove it and weld a straight pipe in place. Make sure you secure it though so it doesn't bounce around!

Second thing to do would be to get a high flow muffler, like a Dynomax or Magnaflow :p
