i don't know if this is normal behavior but when i'm driving the car and i try to lock the doors from the inside using the driver or passenger side power lock switch it activates the alarm, making the horn sound once. if i hit the unlock switch it won't deactivate the alarm. so what ends up happening is i have to shut off the car, remove the key from the ignition, then hit the unlock button on the remote for the keyless entry.
is there a way to stop this behavior... sometimes i have passengers and they'll lock the doors and the alarm will come on, and when we park, they open the doors before i have a chance to deactivate the alarm and it goes off and the whole parking lot stares at me like i'm crazy.
