I dunno about the post'97, but they should have a little screw on the bottom that has a spring on it. Just adjust it and it should work.

Please don't. IMHO, from a distance it looks ok, but up close it looks unfinished/something's missing.

Alright, I got a dumb question. With the silver star highs for the low beam, how do you think it is for oncoming drivers at night? It's not blinding like having the high beam on, is it?

there is a glare shield n the hedlight plus the lwo beam has a different angle than the high. the silverstar high beam is a lot brighter than the low beam though. i have regular 9006 s.s. in my low beam and its not too bright. i would do the 9005 in the low but i heard moiture gets in cause it doesnt seal as good. im just going to get some higher wattage bulbs for my new headlights. but i will get the silvr star fogs. i have the bat amber fog bulb and it melted the fog light so i need new fogs too.

it's not like having the high beam on, cause of the glare shield over the bulb, but they are still damn bright. Anyone in front of me that i talk to says "goddamn you have bright lights" before I even tell them they are modified.

anyone ever tried to make a centering ring to do the 9005 low beam mod with? ive seen a few post saying its a pain to get the 9005 lined up in the 9006 housing. for a little over the price of 2 9005 silver stars i can get i full set of jc whitney xenons with spares. one thing i can say about silver stars is that they do last. i think mine were baught in march of 2003 and they still work. so the quality is there. any tips on centering the 9005 for low beam?
