Cartman,
I don't think you're being an ass. Thanks for the advice, but I don't think I would ever buy a droptop.
And I don't limit myself to magazines, I look at a lot of different websites, too. I also have some friends who work at an auto auction and they've driven pretyy much every car on the road. I value their opinions because they have the same taste as I.
It's all in the love of cars.

It's all in the love of cars. Couldn't have said it better myself. I was never trying to be an ass, if you see my first post in this thread, I said "don't take this personally", I was just curious. Convertibles aren't for everybody, but I couldn't live w/o one. Renting a convertible Mustang when I was in Hawaii about 6 years ago was the biggest mistake I ever made, because I was hooked after that

Cartman... allow me to qoute you.. BTW, if you're a true auto enthusiast, you wouldn't have made that comment. When you can afford to drive a Boxster, maybe you'll understand. No, just forgot to take it out of the sig, but thanks for your concern.. I apparently ask too much for everything I sell, but still manage to sell it all somehow. Dont hurt your arm patting yourself on the back now.. Keep reading your magazines, as that's all you've got. And you're a newbie. Who are you to talk? Did mommy and daddy buy you your SVT? I don't have anything else to say.. no one attacked you.. but you felt the need to shoot every1 down who had a different opinion other than yours.. and the last qoute about me.. well.. LOL.. you are ignorant.

I say more power to ya Cartman, If you can afford to drive/consider purchasing any of these vehicles instead of just talking about what you would do than that speaks for itself. Once you actually get into any of the above mentioned vehicles and compare them I think we will have less to talk about. As for the hater (you know who you are ) keep doin what you do because in the end that is all you will be doing while others of us are being envied or looked up to...
Quality is remembered long after cost is forgotten.
...Oh sorry I guess I am just another stupid kid who doesn't know anything...

i'd have to say that in my opinion, the boxster S is not an overated car. a friend of mine has one and that is a nearly perfect machine. smooth acceleration, spot on handling, good looks, convertible, and a reputation.
and i'd rather have a 10 year old porsche and have someone think i was rich, than a 10 year old Ford and have someone think i was crazy. (keep in mind i am 3 years 'til "crazy") :p
sorry, my 2 cents...

All this over a guy wanting a second car
Buy the car, its nice to have a second car to drive. I enjoy it for the fact that it cuts down the amount of times I need to wash my SVT and it stays clean for weeks :p
