I'm in the market for one of these.
What I'm looking for it a blueish tint, not purple and not green. Also looking for a farely decent price, preferably under $300.

So you people out there with them, please post pictures and tell me

1. What "k" they are (6000k, 8000k, ect)
2. Where you got them
3. How much you paid

Also please dont turn this into a battle. I know that 4300k gives out the brightest whitest light but thats not what I'm looking for. That means you goonzy! Dont start crap!

Oh, and I'm not interested in seeing projectors either.

Plasmagarage.com 5300K. Dont remember what I paid ($360ish maybe?), but its on their website.

Me next to my dads Q45 with stock 4300K HIDs (I dont know why but photobucket has been having trouble with resizing lately. shows up resized in my account but not on the link):

There are more pics in the sig.

I am running Hella Generation III Ballasts w/built in ignitor and Ballast covers. The bulbs I had on my stock headlights were 9006 rebased Phillips 4300K D2R bulbs. The wiring harness was an excellent quality by xenondepot. I purchased these brand new as set which included 2 new ballasts, ballasts covers and 9006 wiring harness and 2 4300K Phillips 9006 D2S bulbs for $299 from xenondepots ebay homestore..

My Hella Gen. III ballasts look like this under the cover..

and the Phillips 4300K D2R with the 9006 base (i purchased them from here, they are CHEAP now from what I paid a year ago ) looked like this..

so totall I paid for the kit was $410...if you do it right with all the proper stuff like D2R bulbs and a good brand like Hella/Phillips..you will be ever so happy with you kit and always remember..YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! please dont go cheap then I'll hafta slap u at SZ..lol

also another note with the Phillips bulbs, when they are brand new, they will look yellowish but after a week they will turn normal 4300K..and then after 3-6 months depending on use, they will color shift meaning they will become a CRISP blue color which I can tell you looks very very sexy! it does not hinder performance however..

I'm not sure of the brand. I picked up a used kit from Pete's friend for $125 shipped. It included 12000K bulbs, but I'm getting 4300K bulbs from Ebay to swap in. So $225 shipped for everything total. I'd post pics, but it is kind of pointless.
