Anyone know if the door handles from a pre 98 will fit an SVT 98. I would like to have the lighted handles for all around effect to go with the rest of the interior lighting. And if these comply with my 98 svt are teh bulbs changable for a different color? Input on whether or not this is a good aesthetic for the SVT (i.e. not ricing it up) appreciated

Here's a pic of my handle lights. Mine aren't stock, as my car is a 98. I used a red LED and wired it into the lights for the window switches. Personally, I think the door handle lights are a nice touch, and not ricey at all.

He meant the inside. Outsides were never lighted to my knowledge.

Thanks for the idea hope you don't mind if I use that. Did you change the bulb for the window control panel? i can't remember off hand if mine are green or red. (shame how long its been since i've actually been able to drive my ride) What rating LED did you get and where? Thank God for the CEG site!

will they work on a post 98? is it just a few simple wires or just a couple plugs.

The lights in the switches are LEDs. You'll have to disassemble the switch, remove the green LED, and replace it. The best how-to I've ever seen on it is HERE! Clicky clicky!
