my car has a vibration while it's idleing. i don't know what it's from. it started to happen after i was topping out 3rd, going into 4th, and i missed the shift and grinded the gears or went into the wrong gear or something to that extent. my car still shifts fine, but vibrates now when idleing. any clue?

anyone? doesn't look like a motor mount cause the motor doesn't move when i rev the engine. could it be a tranny mount? 3 to 2 shift at 80mph.

Is the engine ticking? Or feeling "rough" if you put your hand on the intake manifold.

no ticking, but slightly rough, like it could be coming from the motor area. but the motor doesn't move like it would be motor mounts.

not trying to hijack your post but what does the ticking have to do with vibration as I have both.
