The OBD II drive cycle is in the Owners' Manual.
Download a copy from www.fleet.ford.com

In addition, you can find the OBD II drive cycle here.

This will describe the Inspection/Maintenance monitors and the OBD II drive cycle.

Had a similar experience a few years ago. You just have to drive and let some time pass. I tried to do the drive cycle routine but it is difficult to meet all those driving parameters with traffic etc. After two weeks and a few hundred miles some of the sensors still read "not ready". BTW I don't think you should be failing if the car is in a not ready condition.

a P1000 will qualify as a failure, as you *could* have reset the PCM to clear a CAT code, to pass emissions.. and they are smarter than that.

So they assume a P1000 (not ready) is because of that reason.
