I know what you're saying about the wheelarch gap - that's the only reason I got lowering springs . I was sick of seeing the 4x4 look . But , with a spring-drop , you get the by-product of the body-to-ground drop . With a "normal" Contour it's not as big of a deal to have the body drop a bit , but with an SVT , the front facia is a PITA to deal with over every speedbump , local intersection , driveways & uni-mart you come in contact with ... literally . Like I said , with your Contour it won't be that bad to have the car dropped a bit because of the shape of the lower front bumper .

Well the b+g's are on backorder for a few weeks so I am looking into other options as of now. I may just go with the koni kit.

Just a little update for you. I put the springs in a few weeks ago and wanted to wait until I had a chance to wash the car. It seems to sit ok but another 1/2 inch lower would have been perfect I think. Thanks Chris for the springs and enjoy the pics.

I like it the way it is. The car seems to have a level drop too which is nice.
Your car looks great!

Looks good. Plus, the car will settle in time.

So you think it will settle much then? All the cars I have lowered have basically stayed where they were but I haven't used b+g springs before. I think 2 inches all the way around would look perfect but I didn't want to get g/cs for an extra 1/2 inch.

The car looks great - much better dropped a bit .

It will probably settle a little , they usually do . It won't drop a ton ... but it will drop .
