I have a KKM Induction Kit for my 2.5L Duratec but my model SE doesn't have fog lights. I was wondering if there is anyway just to buy a hose and run it from one of the fog light inserts in the front fender all the way to the KKM. Is there any hose compatible with KKM or would I need to buy a different intake? Or either way, is the performance that much better than what I have currently with KKM. I don't have a heat shield so I know some of you will say during the summer my top end isn't that great. Will cold air fix that?

On another note, is there someway just to buy the factory fog lights, headlight switch, and wiring harnesses in a package that is relatively cheap so I could have some fog lights? I have wanted to do this for a while but I'm also worried about the install (running the wires to the inside compartment).

Joshua- Homedepot sells tubing in various sizes. You can make something that runs from the end of the kkm to the fog light hole or under bumper area. You can buy the BAT kit that does all that for you. Or dont do anything at all as more than likely it wont add much performance. Or it will, who knows. Only the DYNO KNOWS!!! muahahaha!!

See, that wasnt so hard. I could have been one of those people that always tells newbies to check the search feature. This was so much easier. laugh wink

My bat "remote air" kit will be here in the next day or two and i plan to dyno before adding anything else.

After giving it some thought, i think i will get or make a heatsheild/ box and plumb the tubing into the box instead of into the filter. But I'll try both and with the hose off as well.

I'll also be logging the IAT using Vehicle Explorer. So stay tuned for numbers!

Bruce- looking forward to seeing those numbers on the BAT mod. I'm waiting for the income tax refund to come in so I can buy one.

Probably wont see much change on the dyno. The hose only provides better and more cold air flow to the air filter when the car is moving forward. I think it pulls better, but haven't been to a track to test with & without it. Shop vac hose is 2 1/4" in diameter and can be routed with minimal bends and crimps if you trim a little under the fender liner.
