Fill up my tank monday, hasnt work all week. If i took the cluster out and looked at the gauge what would i look for,

Its probably not the guage, If anything it is the gauge inside the tank. Not sure but isn't there little floats in the tank and thats how its measured? If there are, the floats are probably stuck on the bottom.

Yes, the sending unit, or wiring in between.

You can access the sending unit/pump from under the rear seat. There's a grommet that can be removed to get to the top of the gas tank. If you find you have a bad sending unit you can usually get a used one fairly cheap. Before every car is crushed at the junk yards they have to pull the tanks out of them.
