after the whole thing about the street racing video in pics and vid. Reading on of the mods post about whats legal and whats not. I think thats crap...doing 120mph on the autobhan is ok to post on ceg aslong as your friends with some mods...but when i do the same speed on a closed road (that was said to be ok) gets shut down...wtf?

The Autobahn is designed for high speeds and it is legal.
I doubt most "closed roads" (whatever is meant by that) in USA or Canada are designed for 120 mph and it certainly isn't legal.
If someone posted 120 mph on an official sanctioned racing track, I doubt the thread will get locked or deleted.

rule # 14 Posting pictures or videos of any tach/speedometer at highly illegal speeds is not allowed. That is way too dangerous and just encourages similar behavior. It does not matter if it was taken at a track or any other place where such speeds are "safe", there is no way to tell that it was not taken elsewhere. Similarly, posting about your high-speed escapades on public roads is forbidden.
BAM done and done
I rest my case...any speed over highway speed...100kph or 70 MPH sould not be allowed by this rule NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE OR WHO YOU KNOW

AFAIK, most highways in USA or Canada are not designed for 120 mph (someone who is a highway engineer will probably have to confirm that). They are probably designed for 90 with some safety factor in. And even if it was designed for 120 MPH, it is not legal to drive those speeds in USA or Canada (a few years ago it was okay in Montana).
120 mph is not an unsafe speed on the Autobahn if the weather, traffic and driven car allows it.

g.f works for the bridge/road engineers and I know for a fact that they would laugh at them being designed for 120 mph...period. You also have to factor in deer and animals.

On the autobahn it is legal. In the US it is not.
