Yeah, you can't adjust the speedo because you bought the wrong gauges. If you read the original group buy when you bought them, you would know that.

Unless you have a 98.5-00 SVT gauge CLUSTER , not just the S&H overlays, you will not be able to make the speedo read correctly.

So did you or did you not buy the SVT cluster to go with the gauges?

i have both the overlays and the cluster.
all im saying is it is hard to adjust to where the needle is. when the needle is straight up im used to it being at 70 on my old cluster instead of at 85 now. sorry for the confusion

You can't just plug an SVT cluster into a non SVT.

you can if you have a 98 and you use the 98 cluster or if you have a 99 or 00 you need a cluster from a 99 or 00

It would work fine. On my old '00 SE zetec I put in an SVT cluster and it was off all of 1 MPH...the tach, on the other hand....blah! No way that was close to accurate!

this was my case, all you have to do is drop the cluster in and it will work correctly, the speedo itself figures out what the speed should be based on the input from the vss/pcm

you might need to adjust the needle if someone else has messed with the guage already, I did because I set the milage to match my cluster, I used a OBDII scanner to set it and have tested that with gps
