I am planning on taking off my side skirts to "readjust" them a bit and to clean all the sand out of them. First question I have is, is there only the little screws that hold it in on the ends and underneath that I hvae to remove? Secondly, I need to replace some of those screw thingys and have not been able to find replacement ones. The ones that the dealership sells are too short and don't hold worth a crap. Any idea on where I might find something that will work? Also, does anyone here have any hints or suggestions about this? If so, please share.
FYI: I spoke to the dealership the other day to see if they had plugs in stock and he told me that Ford has come out with a new plug again for the Contour SP432 which is replacing the previous AGSF32FM. Price is the same. Not sure if anyone knows anything about this or not.
Lastly, I need to replace the trim piece on my rear windows that goes around the window opening on the inside of the door. This is not the mouldings around the door itself but the one that surrounds the window opening and kinda goes up the side and around the top. I want to see if I can get some from a wrecker just not sure if they can be re-used once they have been removed? Does anyone know?
Thanks,

Two screws = yes! Not sure what to replace with, but update on this as I have to replace my passenger side skirt real soon! I was just thinking of finding some nut/bolt jobbie from CT to hold it up with. I might ask the auto-shop, who will paint the skirt for me, for recommendations on fixing it.

I did look at CT but they didn't really have anything either.
I will let you know what happens.

FYI,
NGK TR55IX Iridium plugs are on sale at CT this week for 15.99 a pair. They are cheaper than the Autolites and Motocraft plugs and a similar fine wire design.

The skirts IIRC are held by the front and rear fender screws, Then they are held by clips all alond the skirt along the top of it. I would try fastenal for any bolts you need and are missing. They can get pretty much anything.

Rule #1 when shopping at Canadian Tire: You know more than they do in most cases.
Personally I dont even tell them what car I have most times. I just give them part numbers I know they can search and ignore anything else they ask. Now fo 99% of the people this may not be the best idea but it saves me time. As a matter of fact my moms 2000 S4 doesn't even exist as per thier computers so there goes all thier creditbily in my books.
I have many other stores about poor auto part people at CT but I don't have enough time to go though all of them. As a matter of fact I even have stories about companies (NGK included that don't even know what products they actually manufacture)
