The car is on the front cover and I don't know what it is, but the front of the car looks waaay better than the regular one does, thats for sure, although that rearward look will never grow on me though I like its hood scoop AND heat extractors. Speaking of heat, its said to have an intercooler thats FIFTY PERCENT LARGER than the previous SRT-4, damn Everyone knows the hp/torque numbers of 300/260, its 6 speed and Torsen II LSD, equal length half shafts, but get this, even though its lowered about 1/2", its still taller than the Neon was and weighs in about 200 lbs more, that kinda sucks. I hope they make it a great handler, well, as great as a handler can be being taller and heavier anyways. Speaking of handling, they spoke about the AWD system in the Caliber NOT being able to handle the added power, so thats the reason its not going AWD (why not just use the old system from the current EVO, aren't they still in bed together?) They went on to say its going to about a year till it comes out for sale to the public and with a starting price of $22K and stage I and II kits availble, what do you guys think it will do in the market BTW, they said they sold 25,000 Neon SRT-4's and were only supposed to make 10,000, just goes to show you that the theory of "build it and they will come" work, are you listening Ford and especially GM

saw a standard Caliber in my town last week and the car looks decent. like an aggressive small MPV. i think with the right power, you could have a real barn burner, and much nicer than the Neon. they should be able to beef up the AWD system.

Looked over and sat in a regular one at our auto show... visually I didn't have any problems with it. Quality was another story. The SRT should be a nice piece for the money, though.

Well, seriously, what did you expect? First of all, it's the NEON replacement. Second of all, being a frequent rider/driver in Dodges, I can tell you that Old Mopar has never really had good interiors. That is to be expected from a Dodge. It ain't gonna have some classy pseudo-Lexus interior like a Toyota. That's one of the reasons why Dodge can keep its prices so low. To be perfectly honest with you though, A hard plastic dash doesn't matter too much when you're dusting 5.0s with a 5-door hatchback with one hell of a turbo whine.

The prices aren't low. That's the problem. It's ugly, has a cheap tinny look and feel, and it's expensive.

I'm gonna have to disagree with that. The interior in my dad's 99 Dakota Sport is pretty nice. I favor it more than any S-10/Sonoma, Colorado, Ranger or Tacoma that I have been in.

Turbos don't whine.
