So I have my motor out to do a trans swap. It has been leaving a small puddle of oil on the driveway lately. Had a couple people look at it while the engine was still in and couldn't really narrow it down.

Now I was able to get the motor out with a little help from friends, but don't let that fool you, I still don't know [censored] about cars, so I am asking for some help in what gaskets/seals I may be looking at replacing here. Looking like possibly a valve cover gasket and a crank seal??? Tell me what you guys think.

from what I see in the pictures, it's coming from the valve cover gasket.

You have it out. Replace the timing cover gaskets the crank seal, oil pan gasket and valve cover gaskets. Make sure all the oil gallery plugs are tight, replace the oil sender switch it's easy now.
I have a smelly oil leak not as bad as yours. I also have to pull my engine.

Looks like the VC gasket. The leak starts from high up the front. Might as well replace all those gaskets like the last poster said. Makes sense. Then you're good to go.

Oil pan gasket is pretty new still. VC gaskets seem pretty straight forward. Are the crank seal and timing cover gasket hard to do?

And I don't even know what oil gallery plugs are. LOL
