Is there much of a difference in the performance of the 00 SVT UIM over the 98 in a 95 SE? This would be with the stock LIM. Also the difference in price would be about 50 dollars. I am thinking that the amount of hp you would get in the 00 over the 98 would not justify the extra 50 dollars. I would also be getting an optimized SVT TB, y-pipe, cat-back exhaust, and chip.

I would spend the extra $50.00. The 98 SVT intake only extrude honed the secondaries while the 99 and newer extrude honed both the primaries and secondaries. It is supposed to be with an extra 5 hp but I would think that the light to mid throttle response would be enough improved to be worth it. Also, $50.00 for 5 HP is not a bad deal.

Now that I've thought about it, I'll send you $50.00 and my 98 SVT upper intake if you will send me the 00 upper intake. That way we would both get what we want.
