Hi,

I am replacing the rear brake shoes and while reassembling, the spring came off the auto adjustment arm. I can't figure out how to reattach the spring. I am hesitant to start taking the other (untouched) brake apart to research and was wondering if anyone can describe - or even better has a picture of how the spring goes on the arm.

Since you still have the other side still together, you have the best possible source of info at hand.

Just pull the drum from the other side and compare the two sides.

Keep in mind that the sides will be exact mirror images as you view them.

Also check autozone.com. They have all the repair manuals online, should have a diagram there.
