Depends on your car.

I'd say a few HP. Several folks have had good look with them.

They do not require additional A/F control or tuning. Yes it's helpful, but it's helpful for almost any mod...

Yes Pro-M sells a MAF optimizer. I'm not a fan of it, but it's inexpensive and easy to install; so that's a plus.
