Hi.
You guys seem to be very helpful, so I have a problem I need help with, if I can get the pictures to load correctly. I took of my valve cover today to replace the gasket and notice alot of dry white powder around my spark plugs. I swear it looks like battery acid corrosion, but I don't think that's possbile. Next I thought calcium from water, but from where? I dumped all of the oil in the car and it is dirty, but not milky or foamy. Looks old but normal. If you can see well in the photos, it really looks like it came up through the Hex-key bolt in between two of the spark plugs, only on the side with the closeup. This is the side closedt to the timing belt. I also noticed the idiot who had the car before me but the wrong spark plugs in. The ones he has in are about 1/2" too short compared to the new ones I bought and the ones listed in the manual.
Does anyone know what this is? Bad head gasket?

Thanks in advance for your help.
If the picture does not show, I can create a webpage so someone can view it if needed.
