well i am a noob, but im far from stupid but i have a problem i cant seem to fix. i have a 2000 svt contour and im right at 100k, i bought the car at 60k(as a total) but there was fairily light damage to the front.from day 1 i was never able to get the fans to work so i hard wired them to a swich inside so i could turn them on an off, which has never seemed to be a problem. other wise the car is stock. For about the last 20k miles it has seemed to start to become sluggish on the bottom end and not pull as hard on the top end it just kinda feels tired. can someone help? Iknow there are going to be questions so ask any help would be great. thanks

Scan for CEL codes. Change the spark plugs, engine oil and filter. Do a UIM/LIM rebuild, TB cleaning and clean the MAF.

Check the Imrc.. (Intake manifold runner control)
Its the little silver box under the plastic cover.

Sometimes the wire can be unhooked or the Imrc chip is simply burnt.

If thats the case, I suggest fixing this ASAP. driving with a faulty Imrc makes you burn rich causing oxygen sensor to malfunction.
