I need at least $5K so I can do a pre98 Stique SVT, and lower it about an inch, (BAT kit). Then I'll have enough left over for a chip, exhaust and headers probably.

WOW !!!

Man, that looks insanely good !!

I especially love your attention to the wheel well filling issue. Makes the car look so much more stable and aggressive to push the wheels out to the edges, but without going overboard... just the way you've done it there.

That thing is looking mint! Love the color, wheels, stance, SVT kit, and the Pre-98 status

Due to lack of cash, I am going to have to keep the SE 7 Spokes on my car for quite a while, but I'm planning on putting some spacers (or wheel adapters) on there to nudge them out closer to the edge of the fender. Car looks kind of weird from some angles with the fenders hanging over so much beyond the vertical face of the wheels.

Not to hijack, but since I know you have some experience with this area, have any idea the approximate thickness of spacer I might look at in spacing that out so that it both looks good, but doesn't rub the fender? I'm going full Koni Kit, don't know if that matters or not.

I did spacers on my Mustang to get the late model wheels on it and had to send back the first set because they were 1/4" too thick and the tires would rub, so I will try to get these as close as possible before ordering.

Thanks man, and once again... NICE

Thanks for the compliments guys. As Todd pointed out I've had a lot of help from CEG'ers and this entire site in general. I am no mechanic by any means and everything I've done to the car I learned from this site and the people on it.

The stock wheels have a 47 or 49mm offset IIRC. The OZ Superleggeras I have on there have a 42mm offset. I added 3mm spacers, so the offset is more like 39mm (if I understand it correctly). So you would probably want 7mm or 10mm spacers on the stock wheels to push them out to the edge.

do you need to roll the fenders now?

Well they already were before I put these wheels on. The summer wheels I had on before had a 35mm offset and with 225's it rubbed so Stazi whipped out the old baseball bat and rolled them for me. I dont think I would necessarily have rubbing issues with these though because 1) the offset is more inside than my old wheels and 2) I'm running 215's instead of 225's.

is that the stock SVT mesh painted?

Yessir, primed and painted a silver metalic, just a can of rustoleum from walmart

Looks good ryan, now all you need is exhaust and headers

Very true. Todd noticed this too, I've got a stock SVT exhaust on there. I've got some WeaponR's that are awaiting install, and then after I recover from blowing a wad on these wheels I'll finish her off with a magnaflow resonated trubendz kit with double-walled tips

Ya I try not to think about that lol I make it a point not to add up how much I've spent on the car, but I think it would pale in comparison to others around here. My estimates are in the 8-10k range over 5 years which includes a 3L, suspension, wheels, bodykit parts, nickle&dime stuff x11tybillion like LED color changes and other little things I've upgraded/fixed and changed. I've been able to do everything very cheap because I'm a tightwad so I've been very froogle lol and of course I had a lot of help from other people who've helped me swap out wheel bearings and install a 3L etc

You're very lucky to live in an area w/ a high concentration of CEG members to help you. We're few and far between down here.
