Sup, whenever i'm slowing down from high speedn my steering wheel begins to shake, i'm stumped. any ideas?

Mine does the same thing. I am thinking it may be the rotors. I plan to check it out this weekend.

your wheels may not be balanced.
Could be a wheel bearing
Could be a wheel stud (check to make sure they arnt coming off)
etc
etc
etc

I the wheels balanced when i bought it, which was last week. but the tires are at the wear bar, almost toast the tire tech said.

This will cause vibration and shaking. If it continues after new tires and balance, then rotors might need to be "turned".

Why would you balance bad wheels for?

Your brake rotors are warped.

You might get lucky and be able to have them turned, otherwise they will need to be replaced.

This is the most likly answer. Almost for sure, you have brake rotor problems.
