I just saw in another post where Brad Noon has gutted (and cleaned!) pre-cats available for like $100 with core exchange. A good deal IMO, as this is a dirty and tough job under the car and on the bench. Brad really knows these pre-cats... Gains are terrific, although I'm not sure about 11HP?? Probably an easy 5 or so, but it depends on other restrictions in your exhaust. If $100 wont crimp your tail pipe, buy the pre-cats instead of doing yourself. If you have emmissions testing, you'll need to keep the main cat on.

$100 is the refundable part (once I recieve your precats back), plus $50 non-refundable for the actual service. $35 for premade MIL eliminators to go with them.

I think that I read somewhere that it give a negative effect to gut the main cat, plus thats going to be LOUD

I would suggest that you install the Bassani first and drive the car around for a month before gutting any cats. Bassani is pretty loud & it drones on the highway - I installed an inline 4" resonator with mine (nice!). Gutting either cat or precats will make car loud and both will be very loud, so make sure you want more sound before you do it.
